5 nudist beaches in Wales
Netherlands, is the land of nudism, including beaches, resorts, camps and saunas.This is the very reason why Netherlands is not one of the world’s major naturist holiday destinations.
The nude beaches below, open to everyone, are convenient to Amsterdam and appropriate for both new and seasoned nudists alike.
1. Callantsoog
The first nudist beach in the Netherlands, Callantsoog became official in 1973. The sandy beach stretches for over 2km which is clearly marked between the 14.50 and the 16.80 poles.
2. Zandvoort
Zandvoort is the most visited naturist beach in the Netherlands, because of the nice atmosphere and the wide, spacious, white sandy beach. You will find the nudist beach in Zandvoort between beach pole 68 and 71, giving nude visitors a whole 3km stretch to enjoy.
3. Het Twiske
The beach area at Het Twiske is clearly divided into sections for nudists and non-nudists. The nudist area (Baaiegatstrand) with shallow water which great for not so strong swimmers.
4. Velsen and Bloemendaal
Bloemendaal, is a beach resort that lies next to Zandvoort Beach.These neighbouring resorts have a shared nudist area where their two beaches meet; poles 58.0 to 59.5
5. Bussloo
Bussloo is one of the largest nudist beach zones in Netherlands and the sandy and deep water makes it ideal.
6. Scheveningen
This beach in Scheveningen lies close to The Hague, and therefore gets quite busy during the summer months. The nudist area starts about 1km north of the main beach area, between poles 96.5 and 98
7. Ellerstrand
The Ellerstrand is situated on the Veluwemeer, to the South-east of Biddinghuizen. Nudist recreation is permitted on a small section of the Ellerstrand. The nudist beach is situated to the North-east of Restaurant de Klink. The area is not shown with signs.
8. Laakse strand
Laakse strand is situated on the Nijkerkernauw to the West of Zeewolde , on the border of Hulkesteinse bos. Flevo Natuur, an outdoor oasis for nude sports, recreation and relaxation, is located in the Hulkesteinse bos, which one of the largest public naturist camping sites in Europe.
9. Rhederlaag
The area is made up of 3 lakes, nudist recreation is permitted on section of the Lathumse plas on an area of the Bahrsche beach. The area is signed. The nudist beach is made up of laying meadows, with a small area of sandy beach.
